Friend to Boyfriend, any advice? - Mood:Good
Monday September 29 20086:32:32 PM |
So last night my friend Ben who I've liked as more than that for about a month now asked me to be his girlfriend. I accepted of course because we both made it obvious we now like each other as more than friends. We have been friends for about a year now, but the past few weeks we started hanging out and calling each other all the time. I still like him but it feels awkward, he kissed me and I did like it. But now it just seems odd because we've always been friends and now all of a sudden we're more than that, but I don't want to tell him we need to go back to being just friends because I do like him. I'm not really sure what I'm trying to say, anyone else been in a situation like this? What did you do?

Impossible Food Challenges? - Mood:Good
Tuesday May 20 20088:37:51 PM |
I have a few that I've heard before but I was wondering what some others were. My friends and I are going to be pretty bored this weekend so we're looking for something stupid and fun to do.
They don't have to necessarily be impossible, just challenging.

The ones I know are

1 gallon of milk in 1 hour
6 saltines in 1 minute
1 tbsp of cinnamon
24 peeps in 5 minutes
1 whole jalapeno pepper or lemon in 1.5 minutes

Any others?

Unbelieveable. - Mood:Good
Monday January 07 20088:40:52 PM |
I wouldn't say that I feel bad because of the comment made about me today, but I am definently pissed and I do feel like my self-esteem took a little blow today.

I already have issues with the way I look, even if others don't think so I really am constantly worrying that people are saying things about how ugly or fat I am.

The main point of this is today while I was at school I was walking to one of my classes. There was a group of 7 or 8 black guys that walked by me, one said, "Hey baby what's your name?" I just rolled my eyes and moved on. His friends started laughing at him, and one said yeah right b**ch I'd slap a hundred dollar bill on that a**. I didn't say anything back, what would I say anyway?

I am still angry about the comment, what makes that guy think he has the right to say that to ANYONE? Just had to get this off my chest, it's been bugging me the whole day and I didn't want to tell my friends because I might be making this bigger than it really is.

Brush Guard for my Car - Mood:Good
Sunday December 16 20075:47:33 PM |
Hey all, I bought a new car recently, it's actually used but new to me. It's a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. So sometime soon after Christmas I'm wanting to put a brush guard on it. I've been looking at it on the internet but have never bought anything like this before.

So just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for good brush gaurds, and I'm buying fog lights to put on too, are those easy to install myself or should I pay for the people where I buy it from to install it for me. How long does it take to install one?

Oh and this is the one I'm thinking about buying.

Any help or info would be much appreciated.

Nerves are getting the best of me. - Mood:Anxious
Thursday October 18 20078:47:21 PM |
I have my first regionals for golf on Monday. I'm just nervous because I've never been to regionals before, and there is not a maximum numer of strokes you can take during the match. I'm hoping I don't get more than 5 or 6 on each hole, but being so nervous I've been playing horribly the past 2 days of practice. Anyone have any advice for this sort of thing? I've gone to regionals/states in soccer and softball, but soccer is different because it's not all on you, it's a team effort. This is my first ever golf regionals and I've been practicing but I can't calm down and think about playing well on Monday.

Poverty...Can`t Find It. - Mood:Good
Sunday February 11 20079:01:42 PM |
I'm doing a project about poverty in America, and I'm having a lot of trouble finding a 30second-3minute clip about it. It's very easy to find one about poverty in anywhere but America. If anyone for some reason or another has or knows where to find a good clip about poverty in america please let me know. Also I have to be able to burn it to a disc. I found this great video Poverty in America
If anyone knows how to get that onto Windows Media Player so I can burn it to a disc please let me know. Thanks!

Lower back is killing me! - Mood:Good
Wednesday January 10 20077:27:17 PM |
My lower back has been killing me for voer a month now. When I stretch straight down to touch my hands to the floor I can lay both my palms flat, but now I can't even get past my knees. I have no idea why my back hurts so much, I didn't strain it or anything. Does anyone know how to make your lower back pop? It would be greatly appreciated.

Quick Keyboard Question - Mood:Good
Tuesday November 07 20063:28:38 PM |
I want to clean the keys on my keyboard, I have a Windows XP and the original keyboard. I know keys can be popped out and then be put back in, I was wondering if anyone knew how to go about doing this? Do I just need to take a screwdriver and kind of ease it out of there? Theres some spilled coca cola and food like that stuck so I'm trying to clean out the keys, so they don't stick.

Thinkin about a tatoo...advice? - Mood:Good
Sunday September 10 20066:23:46 PM |
So I'm wanting to get a tatoo on my left shoulder, just under the shoulder blade. I want to get the Denver Broncos mascot because I have been obsessed with the Broncos since I was in 1st grade (I'm now a senior at Colorado State)

I know it hurts but I was curious as to how you decided what type of tatoo you have, and if you regret getting one.

I know tatoos usually represent something you care about a lot or something you're involved in, so I'm just trying to decide wether this would be a good thing to get or not.

Any advice or help you have about tatoos please post, Thanks.

Your Plans? - Mood:Good
Sunday July 02 200612:37:08 PM |
So it's 4th of July weekend. I'm curious as to see what everyone is doing for it. I'm having about 8 people over for a little party, we're going to swim, have food, fireworks, music, all that jazz. Fireworks is the best part. Where I live it's illegal to have fireworks that go off the ground (unless it's something you hold like sparklers) So I'm taking a 2 hour drive down to South Carolina tommorow to buy some real fireworks for the party. :) So what's everyones plans?

Well that was fantastic... - Mood:Good
Wednesday April 05 20066:35:17 PM |
So last night my dogs ran away and came back at about 2 in the morning, I had been searching for them with my friend all night and we drove back to my apartment, and there they are sitting on the front lawn like they never left. So that was exciting and then today my little dog, Bonnie, was chewing on a rawhide and it got small and stuck to the top of her mouth. Usually it's easy just to get it out, but let me tell you it was lodged in there and suctioned to the top. I couldn't get her to hold still to try to take it out with pliers (i tried just getting it out with my hand but it was really stuck). So I called me friend over and she had to hold Bonnie while I sat there for 10 minutes just pulling down on the rawhide with pliers, and twisting it to try and get it out. Finally after about 15 minutes it pops out...so that was fun. Hmm I have no end to my dog problems.

Ahh **** - Mood:Good
Tuesday April 04 20067:53:31 PM |
So I just ordered some takeout from Nara and my 2 puppies were running around outside. I opened the door and my other dog got out, I thought it would be fine for two seconds while I put the food in the house and then get either the puppies or the big dog inside. But I went back out to get them and they had already run away, now i have no car at the moment because it's being worked on. I just walked a few streets over where they normally are, but not there. So here I am without a car and my dogs are out roaming..again, while I'm eating my takeout. I'm not worried about them coming back because they always do, I'm just worried that because the puppies are so little they might get run over, or someone will pick them up and not return them or something.

little rant if i may - Mood:Good
Friday March 24 20066:09:55 PM |
Ok well it's about my teacher. Well he is the biggest scumbag, he looks down girls shirts and makes people feel like dirt. If you ask him a question about something in the chapter he will give you some sarcastic remark about why you don't know it and you still won't know the answer to your question, the teacher is there to help you so if you ask a reasonable question in class he should answer. It's gotten the point where people never ask questions even if they don't understand because they will look like an idiot in front of their classmates. I overheard him talking to another teacher the other day and he said, "I was grading the students tests the other day and I wish I just had a little stamp I could put on every paper that said DUMBASS" Yeah that's real encouraging. He doesn't teach he just gives about 50 pages of work to do in a week, but the catch is you can't take the book out of the room. So with the last 10 minutes of class you have to try to finish it.

Does anyone know? - Mood:Good
Saturday October 08 20055:03:08 PM |
Well I bought some of these a couple months ago in a candy shop in North Carolina. I have been looking for a while to find some but can not. Now they are made by Russell Stover (I checked the website, nothing) The closest Russell Stover store to me is about a 6 hour drive, so I don't want to do that. The candies are chocolate mint type things, they come in pink, yellow, and green. They are shaped like Hershey's kisses but slighty larger. They also have little white dots (kind of like sprinkles) on the bottom of them. Does anyone know what these are called, or what website has them to order from? If you have the answer to either it would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Girls-little help here please - Mood:Good
Thursday August 25 20057:00:51 PM |
Ok my hair is anturally curly, but the curls aren't defined so I can straighten my hair. The problem is it can be straightened but by the 2ne or 3rd period of school it's getting curly again. I use some heat sealent product from a salon so the straightener won't burn my hair. Today I tried using this very light tresseme' spray on my hair to keep it in place, it didn't work. I know my hair can stay straight they've done it when I went to get my hair done and I bought the products they told me to buy to straighten it. Does anyone have advice on how to keep it straight? Chemically is not an option. Please if you have curly hair and straighten it or have any tips tell me.

MIXED feelings....whatever. - Mood:Good
Friday June 24 200510:27:35 PM |
I came back from being a camp counseler today, had a blast. I've been crying for awhile though because our end of session song was There You'll Be by Faith Hill, and I miss everyone so much. But I suppose all good things have to end sometime. Tommorow I'm going to Colorado Springs which is 2 hours from here to get my new Westie puppy, I've already bought all of his toys and such. I know which puppy I'm getting because the breeder sent me pictures of them and said I could pick anyone I want. I'm naming him Broderick which is Scottish for brother. I don't care what the name means I just think it sounds cool. Well how is everyone else doing?

Giddy Grocery Lovers - Mood:Good
Wednesday June 01 20058:31:44 PM |
So I was standing in line at the grocery store the other day just to buy some milk, cereal, bananas, and of course a Twix. While I was standing there there was this giddy little couple in front of me, so of course they picked the only unpiced non weighed turkey in the store. So the girlfried was like OK! and went to get another turkey.Well after 20 minutes I bought my 4 things and as I was backing out there they were again taking turns riding in the cart laughing. Annoying. I mean me and my boyfriend used to do that and although I broke up with him I still want him. I know what he's like though, how he acts. I've been back to him before and nothing ever changes. I still love him but know in my heart that there's no way I can go back.

Ok I`m so tired of this. - Mood:Good
Friday May 27 200511:00:26 AM |
I'm still sick with a fever of 102.9, it went down 1 degree from last night. My schedule is so messed up because I've taken at least 5 naps yesterday and have been up since 3, so I'll probably go to sleep at like 6. On the brightside Sprite settles upset stomachs and so I don't have to take anymore pepto bismal (I'm glad my roomate bought me a sprite, I wouldn't have even thought of it settling stomachs because it's a soda, but it does.) Well that's all for now, I hope I'm feeling better by Monday because I'm going to Pinehurst in North Carolina for a spa treatment, then going to camp the following Sunday, to be a counseler. Yes.

This summer....meh. - Mood:Good
Thursday May 26 20053:01:34 PM |
Well my boyfriend for a year and a half broke up with me today, some dumbass excuse about how its not me its him (yeah like no one's ever heard that before) He says we'll still be friends, but it would be awkward to talk to him. I'm not in a rush to get another boyfriend I just have to wait for Mr.Right. I'm only 20 so there's plenty of time to settle down. Of course I did want to get married by the time I'm 24-29, I don't know I just enjoy younger families. When I was 13 my mom and dad were 40, when one of my best friends was 13 her mom was 49 and her dad 53, I don't like that for some reason (young families are for me) So I'm going back to Keystone Camp this summer as a counseler I went there as a camper from 1995-1999, and now I'm going back because I love it. Well I'm sure you didn't take time to read all this but if you did what are your plans for the summer? Or any other random thoughts.
