In the original script, she was supposed to end up with Duckie. But, she said that wouldn't be much of a fairy tale, so they changed it so she ended up with Blane.

the old 80's movies are awsome...i personally think the acting and effects are alot better..today everything is so theratical, and animated..hate computer animation..
