I think DISPOSABLE pads are nasty and gross, why would I buy reusable ones? It's the same concept of reusable diapers. Maybe for some fruit loopy people, but as for me, I'll continue polluting the landfills with disposable tampons and diapers, I'll be damned if I have my baby share a diaper some stranger's kid was pooping in, or mensturate into something I used last month. GROSS IN GENERAL.

GROSS IN GENERAL. | All that stuff that you just mentioned IS bio degradeable, so no you are not poluting the enviroment, Perhaps you are doing it a favor by giving back. Gross but true.

^^^ Strictly speaking, this would be true, but in reality, it is not. Landfills are constructed to prevent water contamination, bacterial growth, etc. Researchers have gone to a landfills and found 10 year old newspapers that are still readable. The diapers and tampons won't biodegrade if she puts them in the trash. Maybe if she buries them in the yard, but I with her attitude, I doubt she would be willing to do so.

Those are pretty! I'd feel bad wearing them and messing them up. If I didn't have such a hectic schedule where I have to be out all the time and could find some reusable pads without designs on them, I'd try it.

Be careful that animals aren't attracted to your compost pile - they can really tear it up. (That's a large part of why you're not suppose to compost meat scraps.) They fit in your panties and stay without pins. Very inexpensive. I'm a taxi driver and sometimes drive for 12-16 hours at a time. I'm still able to use cloth pads. (I combine them with the 'keeper' - see above - on my heaviest days so I don't have to change pads at work.) You can also use cloth pads at home and disposibles at work.

No, that's gross. Re-usable diapers are fine, because that's not vaginal blood.

Ew, pads in general are nasty. That whole thing about how women should feel powerful because they create life is BS. It takes two to tango, men gotta help.

I don't have a washer/dryer at my house, so I can picture these bloody things sitting in a dirty clothes basket for weeks...too gross.
