I think Tim Burton is only shadowed by Quentin Tarantino as the most overrated film director out there. I don't get the big hoo-hah over Tim Burton, I really really don't. Nightmare before Christmas was nothing special, and Corpse Bride really wasn't worth the the paper the ticket was printed on. There's this big thing over Tim Burton because he's a little bit dark and supposedly a little bit twisted, but I just don't get the big fuss over him. They're not brilliant movies.

I love his stuff. He has an eye for human nature, so to speak, haha. But if I see another store full of gimmicky NBC junk, I might throw up.

For real life movies...other producitons. For animations(and/or whatever you'd call what he makes)....TIM BURTON. Edward scissorhands was good, and Charlie and the Chocolate factory was ok, but I don't like much else.

I like quite a few Tim Burton films, but some of them have been less than great. I don't think he's all that.

Tim Burton's films have a certain Macabre style, it's very good. The punk rock kids are giving him money now, which is good news for him.

I usually like what he directs but he's done some pretty awful stuff. The Planet of the Apes was rubbish, for instance.
