Personally, I think it would be better to have fewer questions than many stupid ones...

Whether or not a question is "stupid" is a matter of opinion and maybe the person who submitted it doesn't think it's stupid, but the mods do. That would be unfair.

Also, they should have a "you're a dumbass" rejection option.

There should be clearer options "Too narrow" is a cop out.

What one may consider a stupid question another may not see a problem with it. Stupid questions vary by individuals.

Mods hardly ever give a good reason for rejecting questions. The mod I'm up against is a stubborn one, and never explains why my questions are being rejected. I re-submited them at least 20 times and the mod sent me a message telling me to stop wasting my time. Wow, some mods sure are pissy.

There are some that would never get accepted BECAUSE they're stupid questions. Trust me, you may think it's just an opinion, but they are STUPID questions. And you have to say it's either "too narrow" or "not a question" because you can't say the truth.

No I don't! Even if it's stupid, it's the rights of the the questions! They have a right to be asked! All questions UNITE!

Let's not add anything else to the already HUGE list of things they don't like...Plus, didn't your teachers ever tell you, "There is no such thing as a stupid question,"?

YES! Oh my god, yes. And this is certainly a marked change of pace for some people on this thread. Apparently, when yosassy suggests it, it's cool.

No...I think that's way too subjective. Stupid is in the mind of the reader...and I don't know yosassy.

No...A lot of times people submit questions that seem superficially stupid, but are purposefully so because the asker is trying to prove a point. I've seen some good discussion spring from "dumb" questions. Besides, stupid is in the eye of the beholder...A lot of times people post "dumb question" in response to a question that nobody else finds dumb.

"Stupid is in the eye of the beholder." I love that quote. Of course the 'stupid question' option can, in reality, mean either the question is stupid, or the moderator is stupid for not 'getting' it.
