It was the cool thing to do back in the early 80's when I was a kid.

My mom used to make t-shirts like this when I was a kid. It was great. She'd iron on little bears or other furry creatures and surround them w/ puffy paint. I was stylin'!

when I was really little (late seventies, early eighties) my dad would take my brother and me to Champions to get iron-on t-shirts. I remember getting a B.C. comic strip one.

Yeah I got some T-shirt transfers for my birthday, I found a load of cool images from the internet printed them on transfer paper and ironed them on randomly. I love that T-shirt.

We made T-shirts for Lit. Mag. with "Quality?" on the front and our nicknames on the back. That's fun. Cheap too. Hobby-lobby... oh yeah. I still wear the sucker, though it's getting a little worn.

i have made alot with my cosin, when she used to make them and Desire'e, my cosin, used to order in tshirts and we would find images on the web, and print them on to transfer paper, and transfer them onto the t shirts in a wicked design and sell them for 5 dollars. we kept the ones that didn't sell for birthdays or for ourselves! it was soooo cool! Dessy still makes them occasionally, but only when she needs the money.

The only things I ever ironed on were those patches for my boy scout uniform when I was 9.
