I did. And I didn’t get sick.

And I got a day off from work.

Just had to drive an hour away.

Waiting on the VA to get J&J.

Don't trust mRna

Isn't J&J the one that was killing people?
8 months ago - Wednesday 5/12/21 - 1:29:31 PM EST (GMT-5)
yes, thankfully with minimal side effects. people were bedridden, having fevers, feeling awful, but thankfully, avoided all that.
8 months ago - Wednesday 5/12/21 - 1:45:11 PM EST (GMT-5)
J&J only affected 6 women out of millions of doses.
8 months ago - Wednesday 5/12/21 - 2:39:34 PM EST (GMT-5)
You probably aren't a woman, so hopefully you won't die.
8 months ago - Thursday 5/13/21 - 12:05:51 AM EST (GMT-5)
I have gotten both of my Moderna doses. I had a sore arm from the first, and a sore arm plus a couple of low grade fevers the day after the 2nd one.

is that just a supply issue or do they think people below that age can get COVID and turn out fine?
8 months ago - Saturday 5/15/21 - 5:00:49 PM EST (GMT-5)
I haven't been following it, so I don't really know any details, but a few weeks ago it said you had to be 45 or older (they're also allowing people with health issues and other priority circumstances), so I'm assuming this is just how they're managing distribution. I'm just waiting my turn.

I think I heard Biden was making a big deal about getting people vaccinated, like as a point of pride, so I've been thinking that's the explanation for America's successful roll-out. UK and US responses in general have been very different throughout the pandemic. Masks have never been mandatory outdoors here, for instance. I don't even remember it ever being advised, but like I said, I haven't been following the news too closely.

Yep! Both Pfizer shots!

Got the J&J. Was tired for 2 weeks and my arm was sore for a few days but other than that it was ok.

I assume you mean within September, as today is the last day of this month.

The date I have seen here is 9/20 for the first boosters.

Might be old news by now, but worth noting:

Pfizer. Both shots left me drowsy for a day, low grade fever and injection site pain that lasted a couple days.

I had COVID last June and it's not an experience I wish to replicate anytime soon.
2 months ago - Friday 10/29/21 - 5:13:58 PM EST (GMT-5)
Absolutely.
It wasn't too bad - I was just tired for a couple of days after each one.

Will get the booster soon.

More of a treatment than a preventative, but it sounds like great news.

I wonder if I can use it to deworm my horse...
