I see no logically reason as to why music should cost more than an e-book.

Wouldn't it depend on the number of people involved in creating the music and recording it? Books usually only have one author...

Im probably super ignorant but Id imagine a lot more money goes into making a music recording than an ebook.

demand also plays a role

but they take longer to produce, for 10% of the book price.

E-books are larger, more expansive, last longer and are all round better than music files.

traditionally E-books last for 12 - 24 minutes whilst Music files last for 3 minutes. They also leave a longer lasting impression than music files.

Music Files are re-playable more frequently.

From this Perspective there is no point from a Consumer stand point as to why Music files should cost more unless they're a full album or sound track which is multiple music files, often around 24 minutes to an hour of content which is another matter.

But on an individual basis if I saw an e-book which costs say £6 I'd say "That's actually pretty good" but if I saw any single song that costed £6 I'd say "no"

Books should have the higher price. If anything, just due to file size.

That depends on the song, book and/or person...

If it's only text, I would expect the average ebook to be a smaller file size... I don't really see why that should be a determinant though.

I'm not entirely sure that comparing a book to a song (rather than, say, an album) is really comparing like for like. I don't assume either are intrinsically worth more, though. Like JB said, I'd expect it to reflect the cost of production, and to some extent the price that people are willing to pay.
