So I can cheat post into existence too?

Hey, I do it because it annoys me that the first post seems to take credit for the question creation in the thread list.

It's not cheating, it's protecting intellectual property.

But really. Word. As a thought formed.

It’s irrationally true.

Was it really just neandrethal grunts?

I think dolphin squeeks are words. One dolphin makes a noise and a second dolphin thinks of a 3rd that the first dolphin was thiking of. If that isn't a word I don't know what is

That’s one idea moving from one dolphin to another. Is a word more than an idea?

Kaballah is bullsh*t

But the bird is the word

The word is a biblical idea.

It was the best of times it was the blurst of times.

I don’t think a dolphin has squeaked a law observed by other dolphins let alone achieved a standard of sacrificing for others.

I was thinking about this question the other day. I don’t know enough about Kabbalah.

I was more thinking of the first chapter out of John’s gospel. Where Christ is the living Word. I don’t know what that has to do with mysticism though. I always interpreted Kabbalah as Jewish mysticism.

But I think that there can be composition of language. Like there can be composition of sound. Or composition of color.

Like the idea that believers in Christ compose the whole body of Christ with diverse spiritual gifts. Or like what comes out of my mouth being what defiles my body.

I don’t think that’s mysticism. I think that’s recognizing the significance of words. I think that’s recognizing that my tongue is the rudder.

Like... I could say something like go squeak yourself. Because there’s a valuation of composition that transcends animal instinct. But whatever...

Is the question "If speaking words is a sin, do dolphins sin by squeaking?"?

To answer generally, I think messages can be transmitted without discrete words. 'CQ' is a callsign used in Morse code to say you're looking for someone to talk to, but I wouldn't call it a word. I imagine a lot of animal communication is like that; different sounds have specific meanings without being words.

Let’s not fret about what is and is not sin.

Like. The gospel is comprised of words. The Bible isn’t a list of sins. I don’t understand why you would assume that words having value beyond signals being sent and received means that their value is sin or not sin.

Like. The Word is the freaking Adam and God depiction on the Sistine chapel. I mean I guess... the knowledge of good and evil is conveyed by the original sin. But the Word isn’t sin alone. It’s the knowledge of sin and John’s epistle attests to that, but it’s knowledge. Not a simple signal or symbol. It’s a value of truth. It’s the foundation of any and every scientific pursuit. It’s the original knowledge as well as the original sin. It’s revealed the depravity of man. But it’s a knowledge of love and sacrifice and doing unto others as you would have done to you as well. It’s “In the beginning”.

It’s not a dolphin saying there’s plenty of fish to eat.
