Pleasantly surprised.
I'm glad the country isn't buying into this phoney bastard. He has done nothing but try to cash in on 9/11. He is a hypocrite and a charlatan.

I am rather surprised and disappointed. I'm hoping to vote for Rudy in November...

Perhaps he will be running for dog catcher where you live. That's about all he's qualified to do.

Yes, actually; it's shocking - in the beginning, I'd always assumed that we'd end up electing Giuliani.

I don't like him, either; but he (along with McCain) is the best that the Republican party has to offer right now. I'd obviously prefer to see a Dem in the White House, but if I had to pick someone from the GOP, it'd rather it be McCain or Giuliani than, say, Huckabee.

Oh you mean that pile of rubble that is still there over 6 years later? Ask the NYFD what they think about the 'fine job' he did...

Try to think a little deeper than the events of 9/11...

He got rid of the annoying squeegee guys, didn't he?
He got people off of welfare, he lowered the crime rate (by 57%), he cut taxes and turned the deficit into a surplus. His easy re-election is a pretty good indicator that he did a good job as mayor of NYC--especially as a republican.

He is a sham, and those of you who believe any differently are sorely mistaken.
Besides, he has made a fortune off the events of 9/11, and done so shamelessly, to boot.
He sucks. And swallows.

I guess if you can't refute a point with facts, saying bad things about the guy must be just as good...

Besides just insulting him, what's wrong with him exactly?

He has made a fortune off of the terrorist attacks, and doesn't deserve dime one.
He really had nothing to do with "cleaning up" NYC.
You people really are stubborn in your support for this slimey asswipe.
Well, after today, he's history anyway.
Good riddance.

No. I wasn't, still am not. He was a bald New Yorker, a pro-gay, pro-choice Republican. You can't be all of those things and be's president.
