no freaking country, i don't get why there are so many questions like this, as if every country was a threat to america, that's just a stupid excuse to invade a country, man, this is poo

America is it's own worst threat. You should make voting mandatory, because voluntary suffrage is unbelievably stupid. Make everyone decide, then you'll have the people's best interests at heart. But hey, why listen to a simple Aussie girl?

[sarcasm]Oh yeah, 'cause it really works for us in Australia look at all the great leaders we get.[/sarcasm]

The people that have to be forced to vote aren't worth listening to IMHO.

Really, I don't think either was ever really a threat to us. I'm not one to take preemptive strikes, anyway, though, so... I dunno.
And on the subject of mandatory voting, I really don't think that works. If people are forced to vote when they don't really know what's going on or have no opnion, then they're just going to go through, circling random answers, like I do on all of my math tests. The results are, thus, not very good. Just because you make people take part in something doesn't mean their going to care. They're just going to vote haphazardly, just to get it over with. It's sort of like jury-duty with some people. They just want to get it over with.
I think if you want to get more people to care, you should get them to actually listen and see what's going on with the country... raise some sort of passion in them, so they'll actually want to do something.
Unfortunately, I don't really know how to do this yet. I'll tell you when I find out.

15 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Thursday 7/5/07 - 10:44:33 AM EST (GMT-5)
I don't really see how either of them were a threat to the US.
15 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Thursday 7/5/07 - 12:35:20 PM EST (GMT-5)
Neither were any threat to the U.S. Please wake up kiddies, you're paranoid and have no freedom....

Israel probably could have done more, if they didn't already have so many countries after their blood.

15 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Thursday 7/5/07 - 9:16:18 PM EST (GMT-5)
Israel-Gods chosen people. Many nations will try to destroy Israel, but we don't want to be one of them.
15 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Thursday 7/5/07 - 9:16:56 PM EST (GMT-5)
Where did you find that information?

Hmm, normally I wouldn't phrase things like that, but I think that sums it up pretty well. Iraq wasn't a direct threat to the US at the point, but those points about Israel are prograndist B.S. (and you know it, Tx).

Israel's conflict with Palestine and the broader Muslim community are definately an indirect threat to the U.S considering they are close allies.

It's a huge reason terrorists target the United States. I can't see how you could call it b.s

And what does "prograndist" mean?

15 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Friday 7/6/07 - 12:31:23 AM EST (GMT-5)
neither really. I mean I don't think either are planning on an attack on us.
15 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Friday 7/6/07 - 4:22:05 PM EST (GMT-5)
I really don't think either of those countries were a threat to the U.S.
15 yrs ago, 2 mos ago - Friday 7/6/07 - 4:32:34 PM EST (GMT-5)
