No. I mean, personally, I don't feel guilt if someone finds out about something I've done...nor do I feel guilty keeping it bottled up.

The point is that technically, the feeling of shame is the feeling of having transgressed a public norm, and therefore exposing yourself to critcism/condemnation. The feeling of guilt is the feeling of knowing you have transgressed a personal value. Or something like that. It doesnt agree completely with ordinary usage of the words.
