When speaking with a blind person do make eye contact?

I felt terrible, because she was just a kid, and I didn't know she was deaf until she pointed at her eyes.
I felt like crap.

*shudders* i talked to this guy with one eye and he was blind, so inspected the inside of his eyeball-less socket...it was interesting

i was also wondering that^^^^^

i've never spoken to a blind person, but sure i'd make eye contact. i DO however have a hard time maintaining eye contact with everyone else.

Not really. If I make contact with their eye, whether it's capable of seeing or not, it's going to hurt them.

I feel uncomfortable looking in to their eyes when talking to blind people, I don't want them to think I was like stairing at them or something. If that even makes sense. I just feel uneasy.

A blind person is one of the only persons I can sustain eye contact with.
If you could call that sustaining eye contact.

There is no such thing as eye contact with a blind person. Eye contact is when someone's eyes are locked into yours and vice versa, a blind person cannot do that.

i have never spoked to a blinde person before. but i usally make eye contact with people when i talk to them, i find it is easier to pay attention.

no I havent had the chance before. If I ever saw one I would steal his or her wallet and go SHOPPING ha ha not really. I think it would be rather odd to look. I mean you could look but it would just be a tad bit odd

when i talked to the blind cashier i didnt. i looked at his face i think.. his parents were helping him.
