I love men who can release their emotions by crying. It is not wrong to cry.

No more childish than it is for a woman to cry.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 7/19/05 - 11:01:09 AM EST (GMT-5)
It depends on why he cries. I cant stand a man who cries over everything.

Anyone who cries about nonsense should get a whack in the head to have something real to cry about.
Real reasons to cry should always be forgiven though.

I haven't cried since my dog got squashed by a bus when I was 7.

I don't think I'm capable of it any more.

Is there something wrong with that?

No, overly emotional men are a little weird to me-but strong men do let out their emotions regardless if that means crying.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 7/19/05 - 1:08:24 PM EST (GMT-5)
I hate realllly sensitive guys but if it's for a good reason, it's okay for them to cry. Not too much though.

Of course not! Well, as long as he doesn´t cry about anything, and whine all the time...

No. Crying is an important emotional release. I see nothing wrong with it.

no i think crying helps you relieve stress when youre overwhelmed. i dont understand when people say you need a good reason to feel sad or angry. its like saying you need a good reason to be happy. it jsut doesnt make sense to me because emotions can be triggered by anything. most of the time there is no good reason.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Monday 8/1/05 - 1:32:05 AM EST (GMT-5)
of course there are inappropriate times to cry, but i think its more childish for a man to refuse to cry.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Monday 8/1/05 - 1:41:22 AM EST (GMT-5)
i think it is more childish for people to look down on men who cry, everybody shows emotion in different ways... im 15 and i dont think i've cried for a couple of years... i cant remember how...
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Monday 8/1/05 - 1:57:24 AM EST (GMT-5)
Crying is a natural human emotion. Everyone does it.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Monday 8/1/05 - 1:59:09 AM EST (GMT-5)
maybe a bit odd if they scrape their knee and start bawling but it's understandable if their wife leaves or if someone dies
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 8/2/05 - 10:06:37 AM EST (GMT-5)
as long as there's a reason for it then whats the big deal?
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 8/2/05 - 10:09:01 AM EST (GMT-5)
It's okay. I cry about once a year, I'd guess.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 8/2/05 - 4:28:48 PM EST (GMT-5)
Its a release, sure, but theres something a bit unnerving and strange about it.Saying that,i am a Brit so i suppose i'm not greatly used to it.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 8/2/05 - 4:30:02 PM EST (GMT-5)
Why's he crying?...it all depends.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 8/2/05 - 4:32:12 PM EST (GMT-5)
Its more childish to hold in your emotions and take them out on others....
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 8/2/05 - 4:33:37 PM EST (GMT-5)
If the man is crying over everything, like he spilt his beer, or he broke a nail fixing the car, or he cant get that $60,000 car than yeah. But if a man can cry for a real reason, than no its not childish.
16 yrs ago, 1 mos ago - Tuesday 8/2/05 - 4:36:28 PM EST (GMT-5)
It's a myth that men are just bottling up their emotions, seriously, there have even been times when I felt sortof ashamed that I didn't cry, like when my grandfather died, and I can definitely say that I wasn't just bottling it up.

If there is something really wrong, there's nothing wrong with releasing the stress and stuff with crying, but someone who cries all the time over anything is just weird.
