My parents werent strict at all. They ate organic food and smoked too much grass. It made them very friendly and not at all strict.

1. Yes, I have high moral standards and stuff 2. No, I'm scared of people and situations that others find easy to deal with *shrug*

Im kinda on the fence about this one. In some ways, my parents were strict and helped keep me safe. who knows where Id be without their guidance. But then in other ways, they were so strict I feel lik I missed out on a lot of things that I should have experienced in my teens instead of living them now in my twenties!

My parents were way too lenient with me. They never pushed me. I think that is why I am so lazy and often feel like I am a failure.

i don't think my parents were really all that strick, which was probably good. it didn't really give me anything to rebel against or a reason to hate them

Mine are super strict, and I guess (though I hate it) it is good. I am a good kid...more by force than choice. So yeah, it has been good. But who knows what happens next year in college...

I don't know about strict parents, but I'd hate to be the kid on the right.

They sort of stopped the whole upbringing thing when I got twelve. I'm glad. I'll vote good.

That might get confusing. They were quite strict when they did patent me around (thank goodness).

My mom was too permissive, my dad too strict. His argument was that he'd rather have me pissed off at him for a while than have to identify my body. He kept me safe, taught me responsibility, and never let me think I might get something past him. When he heard my daughter yell at me "You're the worstest mother in the whole universe!" for making her pick up her toys,he told me he was proud of me.

My dad was fine, but my mom was (and still is) very overprotective. One of the reasons I didn't have many friends for a long time. So I'll say it didn't do much good.

my parents never set any rules on me and if they did they never enforced them that did more bad for me than good

They always used to say "you'll thank us when you're older". And I do, although I wouldn't admit that.
