I don't think so. I'm one of those people who think God can be worshipped in an open field or in your prayers.

If God is every where why would you need a church to worship him?

No way. Any church worth its communion wafers better tell you that your faith belongs in God, not in it. I think it's important to stress the individual nature of a person's relationship with God, but in Christianity, anyway, believers are called on to be a part of the larger and proverbial "body of Chbrist." We are stronger together than we are apart, both from the perspective that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and from the perspective that the individual becomes stronger than he or she could possibly be without a support network.

Even the church doesn't know God. They misinterpret the Bible. Mistranslate it, mis quote it, and preach about things not even there. The Bible is incomplete and has errors because of thigs the churches have added, in order to control people.

Since I am Muslim, I do not equate faith in God with faith in the Church. But by "the Church", I assume you mean established, institutionalized religion. But I also don't equate faith in God with faith in established, institutionalized religions (including Islam). Established, institutionalized religions are "the opiates of the masses". When a religion becomes established and institutionalized, it generally identifies itself with the socio-politico-economic establishment and status quo and thus interprets it Scriptures accordingly. If we look to the Prophets and great religious leaders, we see that the true nature of religion is revolutionary and challenges the injustices and exploitations within society.

That's like asking if belief in Democracy is the same as belief in the American presidency. Short answer, hell no. Long answer...too lazy to type it out.

Church is built by man and always was, it is therefore flawed. Believing in church is only believing what you were taught. Much of it is lies. Believing in a God is far different.

It doesn't sound like you actually do agree with tulip then, godsin, based on what I know of her. Jesus' body was crucified, but the Christ is eternal.

Dad? Jesus' body was crucified. His Spirit lives on with God. If this is just an issue of me being Christian and you not being Christian, let's just leave it at that.
