It would really depend on what they got banned for. I'm not really a rules-for-the-sake-of-rules type of guy, so if I thought he got banned for something stupid, I'd keep it a secret if he came back. I know that means I'll never be a mod though. |

I'd have to decide if not exposing them is worth losing my position as a mod - it probably wouldn't be. But I can't imagine any of my good YT friends doing anything to be banned, most of them are pretty low profile and tame.

I wouldn't go to any great lenghts to find out if he WAS back.
Unless it was a case similar to the recent banning of he-who-must-not-be-named, but if so, he would no longer be my friend anyway.

Nope. I'm sorry, but I am not sympathetic to people who choose to break the rules. I would actually feel guilty if I didn't report on them. It doesn't matter if my friend gets banned. I treat everybody the same. I don't give out special favors or anything like that. I would definitely report my friend. If that means we don't speak again, fine. I am a stickler for following the rules.
