There seems to be a higher percentage of the journalite types in all the forums nowadays, and the 'rules' are more 'written' now than they used to be.

No. For the simple fact that some of the people I enjoyed the most aren't around as much anymore. Right now there seems to be a higher number of younger and newer members, although I think that is just a seasonal thing.

It was better way back in the day, but then the first wave of journal whores came in December 2001-Feb 2002 and made things bad... they've since improved... (since early 2002)

Hailey it's a matter of improving things by default, with the Bon invasion things were so awful that anything short of pedophiles improved it.
