The effort to defend the effort to capture Hussein and bin Laden. And so it goes.

From a morale standpoint I think the American people would love to see Bin Laden caught. Dead or alive, I don't think it would matter. I don't think he would be brought in alive anyway, probably killed on the spot.

It seems that since the terrorists have chosen to spend their resources fighting the US in Iraq, the war in Iraq seems to be the more effective action against terrorism.

It was rejected without the words "effort to" included.

Boredofu, you sound like a terrorist. I think you should be investigated by the FBI, or just put in prison for being unpatriotic.

Neither. Their greatest achievement in the "war on terror" has been eliminating the threat that is terrorism.

First of all, unless sethg10 was being sarcastic, he should be slapped very hard. Secondly, Bush has not accomplished very much at all in either feild so this question is faulty.

seeing as how they've failed to capture either of them, this question is unanswerable.

Achievment dictates success. America/uk did neither.

Bored doesn't seem all that unpatriotic to me. I imagine more time and effort was spent on toppling the Iraqi government, don't imagine they care all that much what happens to Saddam in person.

Do the FBI put people in prison for being unpatriotic. It's lucky they don't have jurisdiction here then. I'd hate to live under an oppressive regime like that.

Hussein killed innocents; bin laden killed innocents. The only difference between Bush's attacks and the actions of the terrorists he hopes to capture is that they realised what they were doing.

DNA testing has proved we caught him. I' kinda surprised the news coverage of the capture died down so quickly though. Usually the media would exploit this story for months.
