For a start, just like a UK website will have a UK point of view, this website is clearly North American in its angle. Also the type of people who log in are going to come from a particular segment of society in whatever country they come from, who log in to this kind of thing and are generally more open minded. They're also overwhelmingly going to come from North America, Australasia and the UK who have a fair amount of overlapping culture anyway.

In the other direction it gives a greater nderstanding to the rest of the world about the prevelant attitudes that Americans have because by and large the rest of the world views the politics of Nixon Ford Carter Reagan Bush Cliton and Bush as just different degrees of the same Uber plan.
