More "yes" than "no." YT is more likely to present the US viewpoint since most members are Americans. I have learned more on YT than on other sites about Canadian, Australian and UK viewpoints and customs.

I would say yes, i actually talk to more people from different countries than from my own and it helps alot

I don't really think so. For a start, just like a UK website will have a UK point of view, this website is clearly North American in its angle. Also the type of people who log in are going to come from a particular segment of society in whatever country they come from, who log in to this kind of thing and are generally more open minded. They're also overwhelmingly going to come from North America, Australasia and the UK who have a fair amount of overlapping culture anyway.

I've learned more about other countries since coming here.

I can tell you that the Canadians have a better more effcient and less LIBERAL welfare system than US thanks to freaky telling me about it,.

yeah I think so

To a great extent it does because although a lot of the members are American there is plenty of input from other countries and by and large there are enough people who are not totally impervious to outside influences.

In the other direction it gives a greater nderstanding to the rest of the world about the prevelant attitudes that Americans have because by and large the rest of the world views the politics of Nixon Ford Carter Reagan Bush Cliton and Bush as just different degrees of the same Uber plan.
