No,where i used to live,we had the convinence of city pick-up for recycling bins,they don't have that where i live now though.....

Nowhere near as much as I should. I just don't have the space to keep papers and bottles and there aren't any recycling facilities I can walk to with one or two bottles.

I recycle everything. Our council provides three bins for collection. 1. Normal household waste which I assume goes to the tip. 2. Garden waste which is turned into mulch for parks etc. 3. Bottles, plastics, cardboard & papers which all get sent to the recycling plant. The evidence is beginning to surface. Street posts which used to be made from trees are now made from recycled goods such as plastic.

Previously I've done better, but my housemates aren't into it (or even taking out the trash, really) and I'm rarely home on recycling day to take it to the curb. If I am, nobody brings the bin back inside and the next week's stuff goes in the trash anyway. It sucks.
