There's no question that it's Robinson. Leonard was great, but just becasue he copied his name doesn't mean he was anywhere close to the original. Roy Jones, Jr. has a claim to that unofficial title, though.

It is Robinson, and easily. There's just name recognition with Leonard.

I am rusty, but I went through a phase in adolescence where I was a freak about boxing history. "Raging Bull" is pretty accurate. LaMotta and Robinson fought 5 times. Jake won the first, then lost the last 4, including the one from the movie where Robinson nearly beat him to death and LaMotta wouldn't go down. Robinson was the best.

robinsons bouts with Lamotta alone prove that he is better than leonard. no question about it, and hagler won that fight agains leonard, who cares what the judges say
