Cross country, then I could sneak off behind a bush and drive to the end, there's nowhere to hid on a track.

Track is sooooooo much fun!!!! You can just do something easy and be done with it. Theres a lot of hotties that do track so thats good!! :)

I did both of them and there have been times that both have been my favorite. Both sports weren't easy at my school, but after I got good at them they were both alot of fun.

Probably track...Hmmm I dont know, depends on where the place is when I run cross country. I love running though ^_^

Well I am in track but that is the only thing we have if I could be in cross country I would be.
19 yrs ago - Monday 7/14/03 - 5:36:15 PM EST (GMT-5)
they are both basically the same thing, one is just on a track and one is not...well thats the only difference that i can see

bad ankles prevent me from running on anything heavily covered in brush, dirt, possibly hiding a hole or some countries land mines. treadmill is always nice.

Cross country is wonderful. Its more of a pacing and mental game for me, because you have to know the hills and flats and where your strenghts and weaknesses are. I can't do track because it is softball season, but it doesn't seem as fun to me. I guess I'm not a sprinter and I wouldn't want to run on a track anyways. Cross country, you get to see some really pretty places. Sometimes I forget how hard I'm running because I'll turn the corner to a pretty lake or something.

I don't know the difference.
19 yrs ago - Saturday 7/19/03 - 7:07:29 PM EST (GMT-5)
track! much shorter distance!
19 yrs ago - Saturday 7/19/03 - 7:11:47 PM EST (GMT-5)
I hate running for the sake of running. I'll run in the course of playing an actual game all day, though. Cross country seems like it would be easier to forget you were actually running, so I'll go with that one.
19 yrs ago - Sunday 7/20/03 - 5:26:11 PM EST (GMT-5)
In track you don't have to can be a thrower...well, that's track and field.
19 yrs ago - Sunday 7/20/03 - 5:58:09 PM EST (GMT-5)
lol sezee...I definately prefer cross country because you can go at a slower pace but you have to have endurance. I think its way more interesting than running on a big boring circle track. Plus I get such a high from it, it's a great stress reliever!

I hate cross country, so I'd have to go for track.
18 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Wednesday 8/13/03 - 4:08:58 PM EST (GMT-5)
I was on both, but ran for cross country and did field events for track. With cross country, at least you have the pretty view to keep you occupied while you run instead of going round and round on a track.
18 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Friday 8/15/03 - 8:18:47 PM EST (GMT-5)
Cross country for the view. At least its a change of senery. Might try track though if its shorter.
18 yrs ago, 11 mos ago - Friday 8/15/03 - 8:26:51 PM EST (GMT-5)
track, because its shorter periods of running.. even though its running faster.. i would not want to run non-stop
