I like them when they are younger than 3 and older than 14 or 15 - the years in between are nightmares, kids are such little pains. But babies are cute and you can't get mad at them because they don't know anything, and teens are starting to grow up so you can talk to most of them like people. Any age other than that I try to avoid :P

I found it strange that everyone warned me about the "terrible twos" (when they start throwing tantrums and such), but no one saw fit to mention that it didn't get any better after that
Every stage has it's benefits and difficulties but I don't really have one stage I prefer. Although I do think I'm going to find the teen years to be very trying  |

Nope. I detest them because I know what they're capable of. Babies are cute. Toddlers are too. But when they're in kindergarten and on up, I can't stand'em.

from about 4 till about 13... too young and they are just a pooping, crying machine...older than 12-13 and they are pain in the arse teens.

All ages have their plus and minus periods...
Infants are so trusting and have that baby smell and that cooing thing going on.....
young kids are a great excuse to see a disney flick or equivilent....
Older kids for zoos and parks..
teens are just great to talk to and go shopping with...
and when they are in the 30's+ well..... |

i luv kids no matter wut age, until they hit 9. once kids get to be 9 yrs old they get annoying.

I must admit I've been less interested in the whole newborn thing, though still loving and empathetic toward them, since my daughter passed that stage, but I'm already getting geared up for it again, 8 excruciatingly long months early.
