Although I still think she is attractive I believe that if she was trying to get into modelling in this day and age she'd be skinny as a rake. No one would even think of suggesting she become a model if she looked like that.

It depends. Are we talking about Marilyn at age 25 today, or are we assuming that she didn't have a premature death, and was still alive today? If that we were allowed to watch her age, our opinions of her beauty might be different. Look at Liz Taylor. One of the most beautiful women in the history of hollywood, but she hardly gets a mention today, because we see her as she currently is.

I would like to say yes but in todays society she would be considered to be overweight (if she was alive today she would probably have slimmed down because of the pressure form the media, and the movie world)

Heh no. Despite her beauty, she doesn't have that Latina girl look that guys just dig and that girls envy so much. I don't think it's be as much as her weight, even though I can foretell if she was about in her twenties today, she'd be slammed around for it constantly.
