Nothing beats looking up and seeing the stars and the Northern Lights streaking through the sky. Especially next to a still lake where you see the reflection across the water's surface.

The sea by far is much more relaxing for me... I don't live near one, but sometimes I listen to a cd of the ocean to put me to sleep.

I've always liked the stars. No matter where you go you can see the same stars and constellations above you. I find that reassuring for some reason, and also the fact that, as far as we are concerned, they are permanent.

This is actually a good question, I like it. Ummm I would have to say the ocean because it is both stimulating to the eyes and to the olefactory system.

Well, I've never lived around a "sea" or any other body of water... but I do find it very peaceful to look at the stars and the moon... to wonder and wish and breathe in the night air... it's very soothing.

I love the sound of the sea, it is so relaxing. Though I prefere to listen to the sea while observing the stars. Not that I get to do that often though.
