Yes. I used the rope to tie up the neighbor kids and then I poked them with beans that grew on a tree in my yard. It was tons of fun, and it was cheap so my parents were happy.

Yes, I did. I just had a flashback of my two friends swinging the jump rope while I did the jumping and they sang "George Washington never told a lie! He went to the store and stole a penny pie! Before his punishment his father said 'Run to the nearest store before I count to ten'"....then I ran to the nearest wall while they continued singing and counting to ten then I had to jump back in to to the swing before they reached ten...."and go again!" Ah, memories... |

Yes, I could even double dutch. I can't now though.
Once when I was four, I tried to jump rope in skates. Our black lab, Sheba stole the rope and took off. It was a fun ride.
