Well, if it werent for him, I wouldn't be stuck with the stigma of loving fried chicken, but I don't think he's altogether racist.

I think he opened KFC to exploit the poor working class black man by creating a monopoly in the inner cities on the fast food fried chicken market and then overcharging them for it. As a racist he considers this exploitation acceptable as long as it’s exploitation of only black people.

Yes, he was. He incessantly chose to feed the human race with the dead bodies of the chicken race.
BTW, all the so-called "races" of Man are the same: Homo Sapiens

What I found particularly funny was the animated Col. Sanders doing the "butter-churn" on his cups... here is an elderly white southern gentleman, ex-plantation owner mind you, dancing to jay-z... it even has "go colonel, go colonel, go colonel" on the side of the cups... racist or not, I doubt col. sanders would have been ecstatic about that image of him...

Not if the story I heard recently was true.
That he was actually black, but they used a white face because they didn't think that people would accept a black one...

There's no way of knowing, but statistically, the odds are fairly high that he was - he was born in Indiana in 1890.
But as mentioned above, other than the circumstantial evidence of his birth year and birth place, there's no real evidence either way.

He opened a chain of restaurants serving fried chicken when most white folk wouldn't even sit in a diner with a brother.
You know why Black people ate so much fried chicken? It was the only place they got served.
