Freedom of speech is a tricky thing. One thing is for sure Freedom of Speech gives us the right to be a moronic, idiotic, stupid, retarted, ignorant, brainless people. And that's the truth.

Are you stupid? Does the First go to far? Umm obviously not far enough. And anyways (for those who are blind) we do not have TRUE freedom of speech. Hmm? Can you (the person who post this question) say all FIVE privileges the First stands for. The First isn't only for Speech. Without looking it up? O, hell can anyone? I can. Religion (or lack thereof), Assembly, Press, Petition, and Speech. Didn't look it up.

I don't mind not having the right to lie about someone and hurt their life by doing so, but that's just me. Although, I don't think billofrights' response would have been similar to yours.

I think it should allow complete freedom of speech, and I have no objections to how far it goes. People should be allowed to speak their minds.

We don't have freedom of speech. And that's a good thing. It's probably a good thing that I'm not allowed to inform people of when they are making me feel like murdering them.
