Cross country, then I could sneak off behind a bush and drive to the end, there's nowhere to hid on a track.

I did both of them and there have been times that both have been my favorite. Both sports weren't easy at my school, but after I got good at them they were both alot of fun.

bad ankles prevent me from running on anything heavily covered in brush, dirt, possibly hiding a hole or some countries land mines. treadmill is always nice.

Cross country is wonderful. Its more of a pacing and mental game for me, because you have to know the hills and flats and where your strenghts and weaknesses are.
I can't do track because it is softball season, but it doesn't seem as fun to me. I guess I'm not a sprinter and I wouldn't want to run on a track anyways.
Cross country, you get to see some really pretty places. Sometimes I forget how hard I'm running because I'll turn the corner to a pretty lake or something.

I hate running for the sake of running. I'll run in the course of playing an actual game all day, though. Cross country seems like it would be easier to forget you were actually running, so I'll go with that one.

In track you don't have to run...you can be a thrower...well, that's track and field.

lol sezee...I definately prefer cross country because you can go at a slower pace but you have to have endurance. I think its way more interesting than running on a big boring circle track. Plus I get such a high from it, it's a great stress reliever!

I was on both, but ran for cross country and did field events for track. With cross country, at least you have the pretty view to keep you occupied while you run instead of going round and round on a track.
