I enjoyed it. Muchly so. I really really liked the scenes with the piano. And that they actually pressed the right keys.

Great movie, good effects, decent songs. I know you cant really compare it to Nightmare before Christmas, cause they are so different, but...I am anyways. I liked this 10 times better then Nightmare.

Did anyone else hear elements of the CATCF score? I could have sworn I did.

^^Charlie and the Chocolate Factory But I haven't seen "Charlie" yet, so I haven't a clue as to the similarities of the music.

Ahhhhh....no I didnt really feel that way. But when they were doing the song in the underworld...when the skelton was playing the piano....it kinda reminded me of a song from CATCF. Not the music, but the style in which it was filmed.

One part that really reminded me of CATCF is right after Victor goes "She's dead, see?" or something to that effect/

You know when you get into one kind of artistic mindset, it will effect all your work. Kinda like Picaos blue period. Does that make sense, or was that just another stoner rambling?

Yeah, it makes sense. I saw that part on my break at work, and I spent the whole day trying to figure out where I'd heard it before. I saw the whole thing last night, and I realized it was kinda like the CATCF score.

all the piano is stinkin amazing in it. and i loved how the world of the living had less color than the world of the dead. i thought it was going to be better than it actually was but its still really good. is it just me, or does johnny depp sound like he rewinded before puberty?

Oh I adore this movie. Johnny Depp makes me even have a crush on the cartoonish version of him. I just can't say how much I loved this movie! The dead people were all great, and I loved the music and the story. Wonderful! Much much much much better than Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Eh, I was disappointed. It wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be. I prefer CATCF over Corpse Bride any day...

I loved it. I'm a big fan of Elfman's so I loved the music naturally. The visuals were nicely done and provided that desired macabre feel I'm sure Burton was shooting for. I found the story to be charming, sweet, and a bit touching. While not gruesome by any means, I wouldn't recommend it to those folks with sensative, young, and highly impressionable children. Otherwise, I thought this movie was good and would recommend it to anyone who could appreciate the artistry & vision it took to create this kind of film.

It was very good. I would have liked more songs, but in general it was very cute/creepy like all of Burtons projects.

I loved this movie...some people say it's stupid and all, but that's just because it is simple. Things can be simple, but sweet. Thats what this movie was. I STILL LOVE IT!!
