I hated the books but Ive never seen the movie and I'm guessing and I heard that it is even worse then the books.

The best part of the movie were the credits. The whole thing would have been much better if it had been and animated feature instead.

I learned that the books were so sad, and that's just how I expected this movie to be. I found myself laughing, especially at "Soda, soda, banana." "Bite me!" Whenever Jim Carrey's in a movie, there's gonna be some rib-cracking moments!

The movie sucked, although I could be a little biased as I was quite a avid admirer of the books.

I've read all the books so far (yeah, yeah I'm a nerd) and like them and the movie was alright, the best part was that Dustin Hoffman was the critic, and I also liked the animation. Someone got me the DVD for like 5 bucks and I liked the extras between Dustin Hoffman and Cedric the entertainer (as the police officer). The sets sets/locations and costumes were pretty neat too, I think I liked the visual aspects more then the actual plot.
