I heard that the movie is going to be about all of the books squished together, instead of just the first book.

These books were insanely popular when I was in like.... sixth grade... thankfully I never read them, to me they looked like crap. Same with this movie. Although I'll probably end up watching it when my little sister inevitably decides to rent it.

Omg, how can people not like the Baudelaire books? I'm currently reading book 11 and I still love them. I really hope the movie will be as good as the books and I hope it will stick to them..

The books rock, and the movie better stay faithful to the book, but I don't think that's going to happen.....

I know I already commented on this, but I just watched a 10 minute clip for it, and let me tell you, the acting on Violet & Klaus' part SUCKS. Jim Carrey wasn't in that 10 minutes, but I know he'll do good. It looked pretty okay, but not as good as the books. Oh, and another thing I didn't get. From the previews (and the clip) I've seen things from book 1, 2, and the one with Aunt Josephine (Don't remember which book that was). So, how many of the books are they basing the movie on?

Like it already said in this thread, the movie is based on the first three books. And Aunt Josephine is in the third book, "The Wide window".
