Well, it was better than the last two Shrek movies (but the bar was set pretty low by those two) but not fantastic. It had some good laughs and the story was fun for the first half. However it lost steam and the plot twists were kind of dumb.
Definitely had some good cat jokes though and if you're a cat-lover, it'll help.

Im really glad they derailed it from Shrek. I just hope they dont come out with Donkey's story, or the Three Little Pigs, or the Gingerbread Man, etc movies now.
The movie was pretty good though. I watched it with my 3 year old niece so maybe that affected my opinion though.

Despite my early comment about shooting the dry cow... this was not bad.
I'm glad they took it away from Shrek. It allowed them to be more creative and it worked pretty well.
