i loved the idea of kylo being a guy who rejects both sides and it was so f*cking lame when that immediately translated into him being the next Bad Guy Dark Side Guy

The struggle between the light and dark is real, which was a heavy theme of TLJ.

Where would the story go for the third film of the ST if he already rejected the dual sides of the force?

ideally trying to destroy the whole thing which is a good concept imo but in the last movie they botched it by immediately making his goal exactly the same of the empire or whatever they're called now: destroying the rebels or whatever they're called now

somewhere better and more interesting than what’s probably going to happen now

I’m going to make a prediction and say rey saves kylo from the dark side
and then he dies

Doubtful, that's practically the exact same ending as ROTJ.

My thought has long been that Reylo will die together as a sort of balance to the force or else Ben Solo's dying to save Rey.

the prequel trilogy is worth it for three things: 1. the pod racer videogame 2. the tartakovsky cartoon series 3. the memes that's it

4. that scene in Attack of the Clones where anakin and padme kiss as they’re being led into the arena while the Across the Stars theme swells in the background

There are some delicious theories coming from analyses of the teaser trailer.

I watched The Wife on the plane and enjoyed it. Glenn Close was great. The lady beside me recommended I watch it and watched it as well. After when I asked her how she liked it, she said she enjoyed it, but wished it didn't have such bad language. Did it have a lot of bad language?! I must be immune.

On Chesil Beach, I like Saorise Ronan so I decided to watch this one, and I think it started off strong, but sunk in the middle. Dragged a bit.

both of those are books i read because of my book club (chesil beach wasn't technically a book group choice but just a recommendation from a guy in my group)
bookwise i liked on chesil beach immeasurably more but i suspect the movie of the wife will be better

I’m a Tolkien fan (as you may have guessed by my handle). But I don’t know what they’re going to do with this movie. Two hours of him writing his books at a typewriter?
3 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Saturday 4/13/19 - 12:20:08 PM EST (GMT-5)
you must not know much about him
3 yrs ago, 3 mos ago - Saturday 4/13/19 - 1:59:20 PM EST (GMT-5)
Apparently after this next Star Wars movie, they’re putting the franchise on a hiatus for a few years.

Disney+ will have some series, however, The Mandalorian (available right off the bat) and the Cassian Andor series.
