This movie was so messed up. Aronofsky has quite a unique style to his films. I saw this at four in the morning and it gave me nightmares. An interesting look at being a genious though.

Wonderful movie. Really makes you feel like you are with him, experiencing what he is. Fantastic. Should've gotten more attention.

This is another one of my all time favourite films. Ingenious as much as it is thought provoking. Although it was low budget, the grainy b/w quality adds to the atmosphere of the film, making it one of the most original and absorbing films I've ever seen.
Get it!!

my math teacher told me that he laughed his head off when he saw this, and that a bunch of school parents saw him and got freaked out. the grainyness adds to the paranoia.

All i have to say is its a weird, WEIRD movie. I saw the director's other movie, Requiem of A Dream. His camera shots are interesting, but the story was hard as hell to follow and it didn't really make much senese to me.

Pi is such an amazing story. I also feel I am with him at times. I'd find myself curling up in a ball when he does..
I love the B/W image throughout the entire movie. I've seen it multiple times, and each time I watch it, I still find something new to think about. Excellent.

Awesome movie. Between Pi and Requiem for a Dream Darren Aronofsky is just genius. He has some stuff coming out in 2004, can't wait.

did anyone else want to drill their brains out, after watching this movie? anyway. to say this film has a f-cked up affect on the viewer, is to say nothing at all.
i absolutely adored its cinematography and the terrifying storyline. aronofsky is one screwed up dude whom i will always admire. |
