I've seen smaller capsule motels. Cylindrical too. A claustrophobic nightmare.

Psh, those things were on Scooby Doo years ago. Old news. For those of us who actually LIKE small spaces (I like reading in doghouses, literally), those joints may actually be preferable to a normal hotel room. And at, like, 15% of the price!

I knew they'd show this hotel when I read the description. "Ripley's Believe it or Not" showed this in an episode once. I'd love to spend a night in my own pod. ^__^

I stayed in one when I was living over there. Just to see what it was like. Very uncomfortable if you are 6'4 and very claustrophobic but worth the experience.
