Brentford was my local team growing up, The club secretary lived across the road to us.

They were in the 4th division then. They seem to be the favourites tonight.

Fulham it is then. Wonder if they will yoyo back down.

Saints new kit is nice. Especially the third kit. Shame about the ugly sponsor though.

I think next year there will be some Corona casualties in the sport.

The more stable clubs will survive and a few will go o the wall.

it just feels strange to me watching matches in empty stadiums. while i have certainly played in that sort of atmosphere before, there were at least a handful of people around. supporters can really turn the tide of the match and i've been on both ends of it.

So today Droylsden have withdrawn from the Northern Premier League.

They said the closure of the supporters social club was their main stream of income and they can't continue to fund the club at that level.

the bookies are probably having smiles on their faces as people place bets on leicester city to win the premier league again, and man city should be questioning whatever they're doing right now.

Liverpool are the early form team, beating Arsenal and Chelsea.

Chelsea should be more concerned than City. But a few teams seem very unprepared compared to others.

Goodness how things can change.
Brighton are not going to make it this year..

still a long season. fitness issues can really wreak havoc on a squad. everton has the hot hand right now under ancelotti.

One defeat where you had a man sent off is not exactly a reversal of form.

There has been a pattern of teams caving in after going behind.

Sure doesn't support form either.

Interesting to see where Villa are after 5-6 more rounds.

TOP OF THE F*CKING LEAGUE.

My mate has a framed newspaper clipping showing Millwall at the top of the League in the Eighties.

Haven't watched much of Premiere League this season. So, reading that Liverpool beat Tottenham to get to the top of the Premier League table, I though everything was like back to normal. But looking at the table ... Wow, Chelsea 6th, Man City and United 8th and 9th, Arsenal 15th! What the hell is wrong with the usual Champions League teams?

Chelsea have been patchy and should be doing better. Citeh have a couple of games in hand but have been playing meh since last year (They miss Silva, Mahrez is eh, Aguero has been repeatedly injured, Jesus is eh and they STILL haven't adequately replaced Kompany). Utd just don't have enough decent players and Arsenal are a tire fire of sh*te. I'm still pissed Saints dropped points against them - they only got a point through a moment of brilliance from Saka.

Urrrrrgggggghhhh!!! f*cking Liverpool.....

top of the table, didn't really see that coming. glad to be back.

Bruno Fernades is a phenomenon. Citeh and Liverpool right on your heels and I still reckon one of them will win it. TBH anyone but Moaniniho's Spurs and I am happy enough.

someone who plays like bruno fernandes would be an ideal fit for the team i'm coaching right now. the separation between first and fourth is slim, and we'll have to prove ourselves especially at the end of this month and beginning of next month when we have important matches.

Nothing like a game against Spurs to get Chelsea back on form.

Funny thing is Spurs don't have a great rivalry with Chelsea and in someway kinda belittles the Chelsea angst.

Chelsea chant We hate Tottenham at the start of EVERY game.

Spurs: Yea wotEVA.

So the league is dead now right? dratin’ ridiculous “Super League” with guaranteed spots for teams like Arsenal, or Liverpool who couldn’t seal the deal against Leeds yesterday.
1 month ago - Tuesday 4/20/21 - 1:11:13 PM EST (GMT-5)
To be fair, Klopp said he and the team do not approve of the Super League plans.
And I'm glad to hear the German clubs apparently reject it as well.
1 month ago - Thursday 4/22/21 - 7:32:20 PM EST (GMT-5)
And just like that. The Super League was killed by Chelsea and Man City.
